We had an amazing weekend. We visited a farm where we milked goats, collected eggs from hens and picked (and ate!) lots of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.
We then went to the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival, ate a picnic lunch by the beach, explored wooden boats, ate ice cream, rode in the water taxi, got hideously sunburnt (blisters on my nose) and drank a bucket of lemonade.
The best part was sailing on a friend's boat in the evening. We got a close-up view of the Lady Washington and took in a stunning sunset.
We camped that evening, and then explored Fort Worden and the Point Wilson Lighthouse the next morning.
We arrived home tired, grubby, and happy.
