Yipee! Finished Projects :)

Published by Amy at 12:10 pm under Knitting

Thank you Cheryl, Becky, Jill and Jessica for asking how I have been doing recently. I’m doing just fine, although I am more than ready to be done with being sick :yuck: and having an aching back (I pulled some muscles in my back and neck which seriously cramped my style–literally). Despite these issues, I did manage to get a little knitting in. :knit:

I finished my Klaralund sweater at long last. Look:

I’d love it completely if the top part of the body didn’t slope down like it does. It’s not the most flattering aspect of the design. After two pregnancies, I don’t need anything emphasize the “droopiness” of that part of my anatomy! I may rip the sweater and reuse the yarn for something else. We shall see. At any rate, it was a very easy and fun knit!

There’s a photo of the back of the sweater here. In some ways, it’s the most attractive part of the whole design. :giving:

I have made something that I’m really proud of however. I knit a beeeeyoooooteefool scarf from a kit by Annie Blatt (don’t you love how modest I am? LOL!):

Here’s a close up:

Ain’t it purty? It’s really easy to knit and goes quickly since it’s knit on HUGE needles (US 17).

I’m REALLY looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. I miss reading all the knit blogs and going to stitch-n-bitch sessions. I’m dedicated to fully recovering as soon as possible. I’ve missed you all!
