Bye Bye Birdie

Sam’s temper tantrums are out-of-control lately. He’s so determined to do things on his own like dressing himself and going to the potty. Unfortunately, these things aren’t easy for the little guy and he gets frustrated. Frustration leads to bouts of screaming and crying, kicking his legs, the whole nine yards. If I were only allowed to help him out, things wouldn’t get so crazy, but he won’t have anything to do with me at times like those. Deep breath, mama. This too shall pass.

Visions of Infinity

I bought too many plants for our flower beds. In the past, I’ve typically bought too few plants, which resulted in a skimpy looking display. That’s not going to happen this year. I’m actually having trouble finding places to cram all the plants in. If only Robert would finish the planter in the back yard, my problem would be solved. He’s just not going to have time to do that, however, until after school is over. I can’t wait another couple of weeks, especially since I’ll be working full-time then. :flowerhat:

Claire's Birth Story

I began experiencing strong contractions at about 9:30 in the evening. They were of a different character from those I had suffered through during the innumerable episodes of false labor which had plagued me during the previous few weeks. They hurt so much I could barely concentrate on anything else. Despite the pain, I was very excited. I was eager to see my baby girl and to be done with the pregnancy at long last.
