Good news! We took Claire to the doctor this morning for a weight check and she’s gained 10 ounces! She has been eating well every couple of hours, which means I don’t get to sleep very much. We bundled up Claire:
and took her to her first appointment with the pediatrician. We really like this doctor. In addition to being knowledgeable, he is very personable. He puts both parents and kids at ease.

Claire was born at 4:02 on Sunday morning. :stork-girl: She weighed 7 lbs. 12.8 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. The delivery was very rapid, but baby and mama are in fine condition. The whole family is resting at home today.
