Catching Up
Sam and I are playing hooky today. I’ve been feeling really under the weather…extremely queasy and tired and he’s been crying a lot
, saying “owie,” although I can’t see anything wrong with him and refuses to eat. I can’t figure out what’s wrong with either of us. It may just be the pregnancy that’s causing me to feel so awful, or it could be some sort of cold. Sam has a little bit of a runny nose, but no fever, so I don’t know if it’s an ear infection again (although he usually has a fever with those) or a sinus headache or if he’s just becoming as neurotic as the rest of us.
It’s nice to have a weblog again. I don’t even know how to bring you up to date with all that’s happened during the past month. I really enjoyed reading several books lately. You should definitely check out The Life of Pi, The Secret Life of Bees and The Number One Ladies’ Detective Agency. I also liked a movie we rented called Mostly Martha. I’d say more about them all, but that’s too much of an intellectual exercise for me right now. :dunce:
Robert and I got to spend time with some of his old college friends, too. That was a lot of fun. It’s literally been YEARS since I’ve spent time with friends like that. Usually, our social outings center around family gatherings or get-togethers with co-workers…people whom I like, but the interaction is different, you know?
