Since my mother-in-law (hi Leslie!) hinted that I was letting her down by not writing about all of Sam’s antics lately, I better get busy 
The problem is, some of the things that seem really important and exciting to me and Robert would most likely bore all my readers to death! I’ll risk it, though, just to appease Leslie 
The cutest moment (yet):
Last night, Robert was folding laundry in our bedroom. Sam likes to get in his way and rumple up the clothes, jump on the bed and push the laundry basket around the room…in general, he likes to make a nuisance of himself. He must have been feeling more tired than usual last night, because after doing some of his usual pranks, he climbed up on our bed, pulled the covers up to his chin, grabbed one of his books from the nightstand and began reading. It was so utterly adorable!
Potty Training:
For the most part, potty training has been going well. Most mornings, Sam will sit on his potty, do his business and then proudly discuss his achievemnt with me. Unfortunately, moments like one we experienced this morning happen periodically. I put him on the potty and let him sit there for a good ten minutes or so. He didn’t do anything but chatter away at me. Since his diaper had been fairly soaked when I took it off, I assumed he didn’t have to go, so I took him off the potty and herded him towards his bedroom where I was going to dress him. He stopped in the doorway and started to pee on the floor. Ugh. I ran into the kitchen, grabbed a roll of paper towels and some cleaner and ran back to his room–only to find him tap dancing in the puddle he made. Kids! LOL!
