I’m one smart cookie. hehe! I figured out the problem with the photo gallery and it’s working great now. Would you believe all my woes were caused by extra blank lines that notepad added at the end of my configuration file? In other words, the source of my problem was a whole lotta nothing. LOL!
I need a new design here. Or maybe on my design site. I’m hankering after fresh colors and new images. Maybe something soon…if my creative muse pays me a visit!

For the past couple of days, I’ve been struggling to install a photo gallery for a graphics group I belong to. It’s not going well at all. The server on which the website is hosted has all sorts of security measures in place which make running a php program difficult. So, I’ve had to spend a lot of time reading through forums and e-mailing the host to find out how things need to be configured differently than they would on the servers with which I’m more familar. Eventually, though, I got the photo gallery to work. I played around with it a bit last night, uploaded a couple of photos and tested out the auto-thumbnail generator. Everything seemed fine…until I tried logging in today. It won’t let me. Argh! I feel like I’m going to lose my mind! I’m so heartily sick of this program. I wish they had elected to use 4images. It’s so much simpler to install and configure.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that customer support will be able to help me figure out what’s wrong. I don’t want to have to reinstall the whole thing. Bleh! I also don’t want to let down the ladies in the group. *sigh*
- I slept in an extra ten minutes and feel much refreshed for having done so.
- My brother and I are working on a top secret project together about which I’m very excited.
- Sam gave me lots of kisses this morning and was a happy to greet the day.
- My parents sent me photos they took when we visited them this past summer. They also sent me an unusual soft sculpture of some sort of winged and scraggly-haired cat. I’m not sure what to make of it, but it’s cool!
- Cheryl sent me a cute e-greeting.
