I’ve got a lot of catching up to do with all the memes that have been making the rounds:
1. Your name spelled backwards: Yma.
2. Where were your parents born? My mother was born in Maryland and my father was born in Montana.
3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer? Several flash files. I’m trying to learn how to make a Flash movie.
4. What’s your favorite restaurant? I like going to Salty’s, a nice seafood restaurant, on special occasions.
5. Last time you swam in a pool? 10 years ago? I love to swim–used to swim laps every morning; unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to do so lately.
6. Have you ever been in a school play? Yes! When I was in fourth grade, I had one of the leading roles in “Stone Soup.” I played the part of a soldier. The mustache I wore made all the kids laugh when they saw me 
7. How many kids do you want? 2
8. Type of music you dislike most? Country.
9. Are you registered to vote? Yes. Even if the system isn’t working as it should, I value my right to weigh in on how things should be run in this country.
10. Do you have cable? We have a cable modem, but not cable TV.
11. Have you ever ridden on a moped? Yes.
12. Ever prank call anybody? I was 13 once.
13. Ever get a parking ticket? Yes. Grr.
14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? No thanks!

16. Do you have a garden? No.
17. What’s your favorite comic strip? I haven’t read any recently, so it’s hard to say; however, since I’m a drone in the corporate world, Dilbert has a certain appeal.
18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? Yes.
19. Bath or Shower, morning or night? Shower in the morning.
20. Best movie you’ve seen in the past month? Vanilla Sky was interesting.

23. What color lipstick do you usually wear? Chapstick
24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells? You’re kidding me, right?

27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you dine? My husband, son & I went out to Red Robin recently.
28. Favorite type chocolate bar? Ghiardelli dark chocolate.
29. When was the last time you voted at the polls? I’ve been a slacker the past couple of times. *hangs head in shame*

31. Have you ever won a trophy? No.
32. Are you a good cook? I’m an ok cook.
33. Do you know how to pump your own gas? Of course.
34. Ever order an article from an infomercial? No way!
35. Sprite or 7-up? Sprite.
36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? No.
37. Last thing you bought at a pharmacy? anti-biotics
38. Ever throw up in public? No, although I had a few close calls when I was pregnant with Sam.
39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love? True love.
40. Do you believe in love at first sight? No. I believe a person can be very attracted to someone at first sight, but love requires more than just stirred-up hormones.
41. Ever call a 1-900 number? Nope.
42. Can ex’s be friends? My husband is still friends with his ex-girlfriend, so it seems to be possible.
43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital? My mother.
44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby? I had some, but not a lot.
45. What message is on your answering machine? “Please leave a message,” or something boring like that.
46. What’s your all time favorite Saturday Night Live Character? I haven’t watched it enough to say.
47. What was the name of your first pet? Hoagie, my siamese kitty.
48. What is in your purse? Cat pee. Don’t ask. You really don’t want to know.
49. Favorite thing to do before bedtime? Playing on the computer.
50. What is one thing you are grateful for today? My husband. He’s such a wonderful guy!
