Look Who's Talking!
The ladies at Robert’s office have been pestering him to bring in Sam for a visit, and he finally caved in and did so. Sam was a big hit and loved all the attention they lavished on him. When they got ready to go, one of the ladies waved at him and said “bye bye.” Just as casual as you please, Sam said “bye bye” right back!
Sam has been babbling “da da” and “ma ma” for awhile now, but we didn’t think of it as speech so much as practice at making sounds. Apparently, we haven’t been giving him enough credit. Our little boy’s been doing his homework and has figured out that the sounds we make actually have meaning.
