Never in a million years
Never in a million years did I think I would have to go through so many things at once.
Robert and I are buying a house. We accepted the seller’s counter-offer, which was extremely reasonable and are proceeding through the rest of the nerve-wracking process.
Having been remodeled recently, the house is in fantastic condition. My favorite room is the dining room. One wall is fitted up with greenhouse-style windows. It’s the ideal room for daydreaming…sitting at the kitchen table some Saturday morning, sipping coffee and staring out the windows. If it ever turns sunny here, we can walk out the french doors and relax on the deck in the backyard.
The next thing we have to do is buy a car. All we have right now is a little pick-up truck which doesn’t have room for a child seat. I’m not looking forward to doing this. I hate driving in the first place. I’m not thrilled with cars in the second place. You’ll never see me reading Car and Driver.
We are going to be so poor for awhile! But I believe it’s worth it. Thank goodness we’re able to spread these expenses out over the year rather than having them come all at once. We’ll at least be able to eat *g*
