Anticpating the Holiday
Oh, I’m so excited!! The ninth book of the Wheel of Time Series is finally out! That goes at the very top of my X-mas wish list.
We did most of our grocery shopping for Thursday’s feast. I’m sure we’ll have to make last minute emergency runs to the store despite my attempt to carefully plan ahead. It always seems to work out that way.
My parents will be here on Tuesday. We’re all looking forward to spending time together. They’re so much fun to be around! Whenever we get together, we eat too much, drink too much and stay up too late. There are times when my parents get on my nerves, but generally, we get along famously.
My mom and I have already planned a secret shopping expedition. She and I are eager to get a chance to shop without the men–neither of whom enjoy the activity and generally make it unpleasant for us with all of their grumbling. Heh heh heh…I desperately need some new outfits to wear to work. My suits are starting to look threadbare.
