My god, I'm exhausted. Robert
My god, I’m exhausted. Robert and I spent the day cleaning out the kitchen and garage of our old house. I feel tainted by all the cobwebs and clouds of dust we stirred up. Ewww! I can hardly imagine anything worse than that garage! We made two trips to the dump and one trip to the Salvation Army to divest ourselves of a gigantic pile of junk. There’s something strangely satisfying about getting rid of of so much detritus. No doubt more will accumulate during the years we spend in this house…giving us the opportunity to re-experience this state of blessedness. Oh joy.
Tomorrow we’re going to see the Seahawks play the Kansas City Chiefs. As you may be able to deduce from my having asked my co-worker if it would be totally out of line for me to take a novel to the game, I’m not a big football fan. Yet there is one major, positive aspect about it. Robert will be detached from Diablo. I might be able to elicit a conversation involving more than a few grunts and nods. Oh wait. We’re going to a FOOTBALL game. The grunts and nods are sure to continue. *lol* I must truly love the brute to put up with so much.
