This was such a long and dreary work week. Dreary enough to incite a lot of daydreaming…dreary enough to cause me to lose track of time…which left me weary enough to forget my purse in the bottom drawer of my desk as I made a mad dash for the last bus home. When I discovered that my purse was missing, and my bus pass along with it, I panicked…naturally. Realizing where I had left it only made the situation marginally better. I had to suffer through the mortification of explaining to the bus driver why I could not pay my fare. What a wonderful beginning to the weekend!

Actually, I’m in good spirits and looking forward to spending a lot of time doing very little.
